Starting with oak, quartersawn oak, cherry, and maple, and using time tested
building techniques, like tongue and groove glue joints and dovetailed
fronts and backs, Borkholder creates furniture whose quality is rarely
seen in the market today. After each piece is completed, it is then
signed and dated by the craftsman. The last step is the hand-fubbed
oil finish applied by the builder. This step brings out the natural
beauty of the wood while making it very durable.
Broad Street Furnishings
carries a nice selection of Borkholder dining room and bedroom sets.
